Privacy Policy

AppsTake ("we") respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of users of Otakara Sanpo (the "App"). The App requires no account registration and operates without our own servers. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Information We Handle

Your progress (collected maps, the gallery, walk records) and settings are stored only on your device. We operate no external server, and this data is never sent to us. We do not collect or store personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

2. Location

The App uses location to show your current position, provide walking-route guidance to a destination, and detect arrival. This is the core function of a walking app.

• We use the "While Using the App" authorization, and continuous tracking occurs only during a walk session (background updates also occur only during a walk).
• Your GPS trail, precise location, and arrival history are stored only on your device and are never transmitted externally.
• Recorded route history can be deleted at any time from "Settings → Delete route history" in the App.

3. Motion (Step Count)

To measure and record steps during a walk, the App uses your device's motion data (the pedometer). Measurement happens on-device, and we do not use HealthKit. Step data is never transmitted externally.

4. Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

To improve the App, we may collect aggregated usage events (e.g., screen views, feature usage counts, distance/steps rounded into coarse buckets) using Google Firebase Analytics.

• We do not send precise location, movement routes, or personally identifiable information.
• We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA); ad personalization signals are off; and IP addresses are not stored, per Firebase defaults.
• You can turn this analytics off (opt out) at any time from "Settings → Send usage data" in the App.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App may show ads via Google AdMob (no ads are shown for Premium subscribers). Ads are served non-personalized, with an age-appropriate (child-directed treatment) setting applied. Ad measurement uses Apple's SKAdNetwork and does not track individuals.

6. In-App Purchases

Premium (subscription) purchases are made through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled by Apple's systems, and we never directly receive your credit card or payment information. See Apple's privacy policy for details.

7. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party other than the service providers above (Google: Firebase / AdMob; Apple: App Store). As noted, precise location and movement routes are never transmitted externally.

8. Data Storage and Deletion

App data is stored only on your device. You can delete data by:

• Using "Settings → Delete route history" to delete your route history
• Deleting individual maps or treasures
• Uninstalling the App from your device (on-device data is deleted)

9. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 9+. We do not collect personal information, and ads are served non-personalized with age-appropriate settings. If a child uses the App, please enjoy it together with a guardian and stay safe.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. For significant changes, we will post a notice on this page.
